I'm Binta Patel, a licensed health insurance agent serving California and the greater Bay Area. My path here wasn't a straight line, I've spent 13+ years working in healthcare, and along the way I earned degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and an MBA. What ties it all together is the same thing that drew me into Medicare: a genuine love of solving complicated problems for people who deserve clear, honest answers.
Medicare is one of the most confusing systems a person will ever have to navigate, and it arrives right when people are trying to enjoy a new chapter of life, not decode paperwork. I built Zen Insurance Services because I wanted California seniors to have someone local, licensed, and genuinely on their side: someone who explains the options in plain language, has no incentive to push one plan over another, and picks up the phone when questions come up later.
I'm contracted with multiple carriers, which means our conversation starts with your doctors, your medications, and your budget, not with a single company's product line.

My Mission
Beyond my work with Medicare, giving back has always been part of who I am. I'm an active member of the Rotary Club of San Jose East Silicon Valley and a supporter of the Sankara Eye Foundation, which restores sight for people who otherwise couldn't afford care. That same spirit, showing up for people, especially when it matters most, is what I bring to every client conversation.
